THE QUESTION

What should a field device remember after the scan window closes?

THE APPROACH

Sightline combines a native touchscreen workflow with a separate discovery service. Its Assets and Evidence views connect observations to session context, source files, and export manifests.

DESIGN DETAILS

  • Network survey, service observations, camera, location, and packet capture live in one local interface.
  • An asset record distinguishes an observed response from a port-based service guess.
  • Raw scan files and import receipts remain available when an import is ambiguous or rejected.

CURRENT EVIDENCE

The repository calls this a hardware preview. Several display, connectivity, and local workflows have hardware evidence; some assessment and remote flows still need field validation.
